The Easiest Way to Create an AI Embroidery Effect
This might be one of the easiest World Cup animations I’ve ever made! ⚽🏆
The embroidery effect has been trending across social media, and the best part is that it’s surprisingly easy to create using AI. In just a few simple steps, you can transform a static image into a cinematic animation that looks like colorful threads are stitching the design into fabric.
For this project, I used PixVerse AI with the Google Omni model to create the animation. Here’s exactly how I did it.
What Is PixVerse AI?
PixVerse AI is an AI-powered video generation platform that allows you to create videos from text prompts and images. It is designed for creators who want to generate cinematic animations, visual effects, and creative video content without needing advanced video editing or VFX skills.
One of the advantages of PixVerse AI is that it gives creators access to different AI models and video generation tools in one platform. This makes it easy to experiment with different styles, motion effects, and creative concepts.
For this embroidery animation, I used the Google Omni model inside PixVerse to animate a still image and transform it into a realistic embroidery-style video.
How I Created the AI Embroidery Effect
The process is incredibly simple.
Step 1: Choose Your Image
First, save or prepare the image you want to use.
For this animation, I wanted to create something related to the World Cup, so I used an image featuring the Spanish national team. You can use almost any image for this effect, including:
– Football team logos
– National team jerseys
– Player images
– Brand logos
– Product images
– Characters
– Artwork and designs
For the best results, use a clear, high-quality image with strong details and recognizable shapes.
Step 2: Open PixVerse AI
Next, open PixVerse AI and create a new project.
Choose the Google Omni model, then upload your image.
The image will be used as the starting point for the animation. The AI will then interpret the image and generate movement based on the prompt you provide.
Step 3: Add the Prompt
The Prompt: “Extreme macro shot of woven cotton shirt fabric, empty at first. Colored embroidery threads rise from the surface and weave themselves into place, laying down tight satin stitches row by row, tracing out the logo. The stitched area grows steadily across the frame, thread pulling taut and raising into dimensional embroidered texture, until the full logo is complete. Camera holds steady, slow satisfying timelapse pace. Soft natural side light, shallow depth of field, visible fabric fibers and realistic thread sheen. No hands, thread moves on its own. One shot, no scene change”.
Step 4: Choose the Video Settings
For this animation, I selected a 5-second video duration.
Five seconds is a great length for short-form content such as:
– Instagram Reels
– TikTok videos
– YouTube Shorts
– Social media posts
You should also choose the video aspect ratio that matches the platform where you plan to publish the video.
For vertical content, a 9:16 aspect ratio is usually the best option.
Step 5: Click Generate
Once everything is ready, click Generate.
After a few seconds, PixVerse AI will create the animation.
The result is a cinematic embroidery-style animation where the image appears to be created by colorful threads stitching themselves into the fabric.
The entire process takes only a few minutes, but the final result can look like a professionally produced VFX animation.
