AI Transforms Interior Design with Gemini & Veo 3.1 (Guide)
🏆 COMPLETE AI INTERIOR VIDEO SYSTEM
🔧 TOOLS
- Gemini (Nano Banana Pro) → Create images (first + last frames)
- Google Flow (Veo 3.1) → Turn images into cinematic videos
Splitting the workflow this way — a still-image model for the two reference frames, a dedicated video model for the motion between them — mirrors a pattern worth recognizing across several AI video pipelines. Image models are generally more reliable at nailing an exact composition than they are at generating coherent motion, while video models handle physics and camera movement better than they handle precise framing from a blank prompt.

I actually built this exact 5-scene system myself before publishing it — the “no morph” doorway method in particular took a few failed attempts to get right, which is why it’s written up here as a strict rule rather than a suggestion.
🎬 FULL VIDEO STRUCTURE (PROVEN VIRAL FLOW)
- Scene 1 → Clay / Blueprint
- Scene 2 → Luxury Penthouse (transform)
- Scene 3 → Zoom into Living Room
- Scene 4 → Living → Bedroom (travel)
- Scene 5 → Bedroom → Bathroom (travel)
🧩 SCENE 1 — CLAY MODEL (FIRST FRAME)
🖼️ Gemini Prompt
isometric ultra clean architectural penthouse layout, monochrome clay render, modern floor plan, open living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, terrace, soft shadows, studio lighting, minimal textures, 3D architectural model, ultra detailed, 4K
🧩 SCENE 2 — LUXURY PENTHOUSE (LAST FRAME)
🖼️ Gemini Prompt
isometric ultra luxury penthouse interior, same layout as architectural floor plan, marble flooring, designer furniture, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, warm sunlight, realistic reflections, wood and marble materials, cinematic lighting, ultra realistic, 8K
🎬 Veo 3.1 Prompt (Scene 1 → 2)
fast cinematic transformation from a clay architectural model into a fully realistic ultra luxury penthouse interior, materials appearing across all surfaces, marble, wood, glass forming instantly, lighting transitioning from flat to warm cinematic sunlight, smooth camera push forward, maintain exact layout and structure, no distortion, ultra realistic, 4K
🧩 SCENE 3 — ZOOM INTO LIVING ROOM
🖼️ Gemini Prompt (Last Frame)
ultra luxury modern living room interior, eye-level camera view, large glass windows, warm sunlight, designer sofa, marble wall, wooden flooring, cinematic composition, depth of field, ultra realistic, 4K
🎬 Veo 3.1 Prompt
fast cinematic camera zoom from isometric penthouse view into the living room, perspective smoothly shifts from top-down to eye-level, camera passes through glass wall, lighting and materials become more detailed during movement, smooth motion, no distortion, ends in stable living room shot, ultra realistic, 4K
🧩 SCENE 4 — LIVING → BEDROOM (NO MORPH SYSTEM)
🖼️ Gemini Prompt (Bedroom)
ultra luxury modern bedroom interior, king bed, warm ambient lighting, wooden flooring, soft curtains, minimal luxury decor, hotel style, cinematic lighting, ultra realistic, 4K
🎬 Veo 3.1 Prompt (SAFE METHOD)
cinematic camera starts inside a luxury living room, moves sideways (no rotation), sofa leaves frame completely, a wall with a clearly visible bedroom doorway appears, camera aligns with doorway, then moves forward through doorway, living room remains behind and not visible, bedroom appears only after entering, no morphing, strict spatial separation, smooth human-like motion, ultra realistic, 4K
🧩 SCENE 5 — BEDROOM → BATHROOM (FINAL SYSTEM)
🖼️ Gemini Prompt (Bathroom)
ultra luxury modern bathroom interior, marble walls and flooring, glass shower, freestanding bathtub, mirror lighting, warm ambient light, reflections, spa-like luxury design, ultra realistic, 4K
🎬 Veo 3.1 Prompt (ANTI-MORPH FIX)
cinematic camera starts inside a bedroom, moves sideways (no rotation), bed exits frame completely, a wall with a clearly visible bathroom doorway appears, camera centers doorway, then moves forward through doorway, bedroom remains behind and out of view, bathroom appears only after entering, no blending or morphing, strict separation of spaces, smooth cinematic motion, ultra realistic, 4K
My first attempt at the living-room-to-bedroom transition let the camera rotate around the sofa, and Veo blended the two rooms into one warped space instead of a clean cut. Instead, forcing the sofa completely out of frame before revealing the doorway — the “NEVER / ALWAYS” rules below — is what actually fixed it, not a longer or more detailed prompt.
⚠️ MASTER RULES (MOST IMPORTANT)
❌ NEVER:
- Rotate camera around bed/sofa
- Keep two rooms visible together
- Let AI guess transitions
- Change layout between frames
✅ ALWAYS:
- Hide old room first
- Reveal doorway clearly
- Enter new space after
- Keep layout + lighting consistent
Common problems and fixes
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Rooms morph into each other mid-shot | Use the doorway method above: end each clip on a door or wall, and start the next scene from a fresh first frame |
| Furniture changes between scenes | Reuse the previous last frame as the next first frame, and repeat key furniture descriptions word for word |
| The camera moves too fast | Ask for “slow, steady dolly forward” and keep each clip to one movement |
| Clay model looks like a toy | Describe it as an architect’s white clay scale model on a studio table with soft shadows |
Who this workflow is for
- Interior designers who want to show a concept before anything is built
- Real estate agents creating teaser videos for off-plan properties
- Content creators making satisfying “transformation” videos
FAQ
Do I need both Gemini and Google Flow?
Gemini creates the still images (first and last frames); Google Flow with Veo turns them into motion. You can try other image or video tools, but the prompts here were written for this pair.
How long does the whole video take to make?
Expect several generations per scene. The doorway transitions are the part that usually needs the most retries.
Can I use my own floor plan?
Yes. Upload a photo or render of your space as the starting image and adapt the scene prompts to its rooms.
